They are all large-screened devices with the LG and OnePlus phone having a 5.5-inch display and the Note 5 on 5.7-inches.

Aside from the Stagefright patch, the Oxygen OS 2.0.1 features improved battery performance and support for global carrier APNs.

According to Wall Street Journal, Oxygen’s so-called “2016 flagship killer” provides good value for its surprisingly affordable $330 price point. You can get it online at OnePlus.net, but have to be invited to purchase a OnePlus 2.

Before the launch of the OnePlus 2 handset, the company had made it official that it would henceforth be shipping its own user interface software, called OxygenOS, after it chose to discontinue the use of CyanogenMod software, with which the OnePlus One had been initially launched.

Since the OnePlus 2 is unlocked, you also don’t have to worry about waiting too long for software updates. But what’s really wonderful is the phone’s price: Less than $400 without a contract. OnePlus needs to make sure it has a buyer lined up for every phone it makes. The 2.0.1 version will update OTA and fixes a few bugs in the new UI. It’s a convenient way to access frequently used apps, contacts, and more, and it helpfully keeps the clutter of icons off your home screen. It’s also reversible, so you don’t have to fiddle around and guess which way to connect the cord to your phone. While it may fall short of cutting-edge features of other brands’ premium smartphones, the OnePlus 2 is a bargain that offers an awesome camera and the useful USB Type-C port. The 13 megapixel camera takes great photos – but the shutter is slow. For a new company to manage to stand out in the already incredibly saturated Android market and get such good reviews, it was quite the feat – so naturally, many people were expecting great things from the successor of the device.
