As far as the specs of the OnePlus 2 are concerned, the device sports a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display, packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2. As of connectivity, it supports Dual SIM, global 4G LTE on both SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. While we wait for the sale to begin on August 11, here’s a look at the stunning new OnePlus 2 from all possible angles. The smartphone will be available in Indian market from August 11. On the side of the device is a unique “Alert Slider” for putting the device into different notification modes. Also included in the new flagship OnePlus device is massive 3,300mAh battery which is definitely a welcomed upgrade from last year’s phone. It’s been suggested that there’ll be a fingerprint scanner. The phone two variants, one the 64 GB variant with 4GB Ram, while the other 16GB variant with 3GB Ram.
OnePlus 2 also comes with a fingerprint sensor which the company says is faster than Apple’s TouchID.
However it will still only be available to those that have been invited by friends or customers who have already purchased a OnePlus 2, meaning interested customers had better be well-connected – especially as the waiting list now has over 415,000 people. Most importantly, the OnePlus 2 will be on Oxygen operating system based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and not Cyanogen OS. One can choose from several styles, SandStone Black, Bamboo, Rosewood, Black Apricot and Kevlar.
Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has published details of invite system for the new device, adding that “for the foreseeable future” consumers will need to have an invite to acquire the handset.
With respect to design, the OnePlus 2 boasts of a premium build complete with a magnesium aluminum alloy frame and a removable back cover that can be swapped with what OnePlus calls are StyleSwap covers.
