OnePlus 2 to be priced under Rs 30,000 – Business Today
NEW DELHI: It looks like the OnePlus 2 will also be positioned as a value-for-money premium smartphone just like its predecessor. Peter Lau, the company’s CEO himself said, “I can promise that the OnePlus 2 will be priced under 450 United States dollars”.

In a post on the company’s official Google+ page Lau is quoted as saying “Honestly, it’s never been about the price”.
But the announcement about the handset’s real pricing comes as good news for OnePlus fans. For all we know, “less than $450” can mean a $300 price tag, too, which would be the best possible price for such an awesome flagship. Therefore, its probable price is something that has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. So far, they announced that their next-gen phone will feature a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port, while being underpinned by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 v2. It’s worth pointing out that the 64GB version of OnePlus One was launched at $350 in the U.S. The company’s first ever flagship, the OnePlus One, came with a stellar specs sheet for a pocket-friendly price.
As mentioned, the OnePlus 2 is set to greet the world on July 27th through the wonders of VR. As such these improvements have led customers and analyst to expect a much higher price for the OnePlus Two compared to the original launch price of only $299 for the 16GB model.
