OnePlus 2 vs. iPhone 6 vs. Galaxy S6: Camera and photo comparison

Unsurprisingly, the Chinese company has teased the OnePlus 2 by revealing bits and pieces about it before it becomes official. Two of the most popular smartphones, iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6, both have great cameras.

Despite the overheating issues that plagued the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, OnePlus have chosen the 2.1 version of the chipset and promises that it would bring smooth performance on the device.

The OnePlus 2 is expected to feature a 13-megapixel main camera, although without optical image stabilization (OIS). And looks like the company is quite eager to show off its capabilities. The OnePlus 2 might even have the advantage, assuming these images haven’t been edited. Talking about the launch, the first most interesting thing is that it is first ever virtual reality powered event that we are going to see and the product will be showcased via VR headset made by the brand called OnePlus Cardboard.

We can see from these set of samples that the OnePlus 2 recreated the color with better accuracy, and the picture also seems to have come out much clearer (though we won’t rule out a potential smudge on the lens of the Samsung Galaxy S6).

According to Android Headlines, the OnePlus 2, which is touted to outperform its biggest competitors, easily slayed the Apple flagship in a nighttime photography showdown.

Last week we got a look at what the OnePlus 2’s camera is capable of, but the photos and videos were all taken during the day with outdoor lighting.
