OnePlus 3 gets OxygenOS 3.2.2 with improved Doze, big fixes

OnePlus has announced that it’s now pushing OxygenOS 3.2.2 to the OnePlus 3. However, if you don’t yet get the notification or missed it, go to “Setting Software Update” and check for available software. The fingerprint sensor while in your pocket is now disabled while the alert slider/silent mode issue is fixed already. Other improvised options include the noise cancellation option in video recording system, modernized 4K resolution for video recording codec and whole new security patches for better security of system and data. Users have also complained about issues with the alert slider, which is a favorite part of the phone just like in the predecessors.

One of those drawbacks is that the handset’s Dash Charge feature is not supported in CM13, meaning that if you were hoping for rapid charging, CM13 won’t be bringing that feature to your phone.

Added NFC toggle in quick settings. It hasn’t been even a few weeks since OnePlus had brought the OxygenOS 3.2.1 for its latest flagship device, OnePlus 3 and now this Chinese manufacturer has started rolling out the latest OxygenOS 3.2.2 update for the OnePlus 3.

The OxygenOS 3.2.2 software update brings a lot of improvements to the functionality of the OnePlus 3, but One Plus did not detail all of the optimization tweaks as of this time. OnePlus says it has also added latest security patches which could mean the July security patch from Google. So, good on OP for getting all these things addressed in fairly short order. You can keep an eye on the OP forum post for news on how the OTA is going.
