Based on the ongoing leaks, the OnePlus 3 will be available in two variants, OnePlus A3000 and OnePlus A3003.
Speaking on the technical features of the smartphone, the OnePlus 3 comes with a 5.5 inch FHD display screen with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port.
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Oxygen launcher will be in charge of the OnePlus 3. So if you are interested in watching the launch event, tune in at 10 pm IST tomorrow on this link. The OnePlus 3 is powered by a 3000mAh battery with the company’s new Dash Charge technology.
The official launch is tomorrow and those interested in the phone will be pleased to hear that OnePlus have discarded their old “invite” system which added unnecessary layers of complexity to buying the previous versions of the phone. The idea, India’s third largest mobile phone operator, came up with double data for 12 months for OnePlus 3 users. Unfortunately, it blocks an option of storage expandability as microSD card slot is missing. It also uses DASH fast-charging technology that OnePlus claims will replenish more than 60 per cent of the battery in under 30 minutes.
Launching later today at 5.30pm United Kingdom time, the OnePlus 3 is very almost here. In terms of overall design changes, the OnePlus 3 comes with an all aluminium design, NFC and quick charging features.
During the company’s AMA session on Reddit yesterday, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei seemed to suggest why this decision was made: “A lot of time and effort goes into developing a product”.
