OnePlus 6 specs confirmed, will compete with other top Android flagships
This is because the company has already revealed the first teaser of the OnePlus 6 smartphone on Twitter yesterday.

OnePlus usually curates the best features of current flagship phones that could be managed in lower price. In the last few days, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the OnePlus 6 is coming with a notch. The OnePlus CEO had told media at the CES earlier this year that the next-gen flagship would run the Snapdragon 845 because there was “no other choice”.
As for the release date, our source tells us that the OnePlus 6 should launch a couple of weeks later.
A day ago, OnePlus took to the social media to tease their next smartphone.
OnePlus released a new teaser for their 2018 Flagship Killer, the OnePlus 6. For instance, the Google Pixel 2 XL with 64GB internal storage, Snapdragon 835 chipset, and 4GB RAM costs $849.
Apart from confirming these specs, Lau also emphasized on how OnePlus is always working on offering “best-possible user experience”.
He added: “The FSE Team’s role is to ensure that OnePlus devices offer the fastest, and smoothest, user experience available”.
Apart from that, the rest of the device’s design is still up for debate. We can also expect the flash and the fingerprint sensor placed below the camera setup. Another thing worth noting is that the OnePlus 6 will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is good news for users who do not wish to plug in their audio accessories to a USB-C port. In terms of charging facility, it seems to be the fastest among the various fast charge technologies.
It’s certainly possible that OnePlus 6 could push the brand’s price point higher again, like previous year, however it’s unlikely OnePlus will want to cross the £500 price point – since value for money is one of its biggest selling points when compared to more established players, like HTC, Sony, Samsung and Apple.
Just on paper, it’s clear the OnePlus 6 will be fast.

OnePlus’ OxygenOS will also have a compatibility mode, where users will be able to black out the sides of the notch when in landscape mode.
