OnePlus introduces OnePlus 2 with fingerprint scanner at Dollars 329
The company officially announced the OnePlus 2, its second-generation flagship device, via a gimmicky virtual reality press conference. Except, it’s not priced like a high-end smartphone – the “flagship killer“, as OnePlus likes to call its device, is cheaper than some mid-range devices.

As expected, the OnePlus 2 is a 5.5-inch smartphone boasting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 eight-core processor (1.8GHz), which itself utilizes an Adreno 430 GPU. OnePlus 2 will also feature a USB type-C reversible connector, two nano-SIM card slots, in addition to a silent switch with three positions: ringer off, ringer on and ringer meant for top priority contacts. 24,999 for the 64GB version, while the 16GB version, to be made available later, will cost Rs.
The OnePlus 2 will initially go on sale in India, China, the US, Canada, and select EU countries on August 11.
The OnePlus 2 continues along the same lines as its predecessor, cramming impressive specs into a phone with a (relatively) cheap price tag.
OnePlus, the obscure smartphone company, is trying to trump the industry leaders once again with the sequel to its popular and exclusive debut device. These covers will also be launched in India in the coming weeks, and their pricing details will be revealed soon. You’ll also get an “Alert Slider” that allows you to customize how you receive your notifications and a 5MP front-facing snapper.
OnePlus says the new operating system will give you a “pure Android experience”, which means it won’t be packed with all of those extra apps and themes that companies like Samsung and LG load on their Android phones.
There is also a fingerprint scanner integrated in the home button which can store up to 5 user profiles and is the most advanced sensor out there, as per the company.
The phone comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with sensor pixel size of 1.3 microns, 35% larger than standard smartphone cameras.

The phone comes with four StyleSwap Covers: Bamboo, Rosewood, Black Apricot and Kevlar. It will be sold via Invite system only. OnePlus’ announcement for the OnePlus 2 has just wrapped up, and now we have every last bit of information about this device.
