OnePlus teases colour options for its upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone

The company in a tweet said,”What 5hould the color of your next phone be?” OnePlus always tends to use the best of the best when it comes to hardware in their flagship smartphones though, as has been the case with their previous models, so chances are that once they confirm the rest of the hardware, users won’t be disappointed. None of the leaks so far show the audio jack and it is being speculated that the OnePlus 5 could come without one.

Last year, the company introduced a new gun-metal colour and matt black variant which was well accepted in the market.

This is just a sign of what we can expect from the OnePlus 5 and given the explanation we can’t wait to get tour hands on the device. Lau Pete (weibo username: Liu Zonto) notes to a user who asked, “Is the fingerprint scanner?” Lau simply replied by saying “yes”, and that hints at the upcoming smartphone’s design. OnePlus has employed this tactic in the past, and now it’s doing it again for the OnePlus 5. He confirmed the same on his twitter handle.

“Why did the port jack cross the street?”, Wrote Carl Pei in response to a curious surfer on the social network to the blue bird.

OnePlus is directly moving forward to OnePlus 5 instead of going with OP4 after OnePlus 3T.

On the camera front, it may include 23MP rear snapper and a 16MP front camera. Together with a promised better photography experience, this these riddles will probably keep the interest on the OnePlus 5 alive for a little while longer. OnePlus phones have traditionally been cheaper considerably cheaper than the big name flagships, but the presence of the Snapdragon 835 is likely to make undercutting the big guns more hard.

OnePlus are also rumored to launch another version of the handset with 8GB of RAM this model could launch in China.

As many of you know, the Snapdragon 835 from Qualcomm is the chipset of 2017 that nearly all top tier phones will use. Furthermore, the device is expected to run on Android Nougat, and sport a 5.5-inch full HD display.
