Only in America: Don King stumps for Donald Trump in Cleveland

“Well, I just want to get on with, you know, we want to get on with the campaign”, Trump told ABC 6 of Columbus on Wednesday, when asked what had changed.

He then used an example about why African-Americans “cannot assimilate” and used the late singing icon Michael Jackson as a point of reference. “I told Michael Jackson…’if you’re poor, you’re a poor n***o.’ I would use the n-word”. “But if you rich, you are a rich negro”. “You’re going to be a negro ’til you die”.

King introduced Trump during a conference of pastors at the New Spirit Revival Center, where he spoke about Trump’s appeal as a political outsider and talked about the struggles black Americans face. “We will take this system apart, and we will make America great again”, King said, referencing Trump’s campaign slogan. “I don’t know what she was thinking but I am very, very troubled by that”, said Trump to applause.

King said white women and African-Americans should vote for Trump to topple the established order.

Palmieri said the campaign is concerned that Clinton and Trump will be judged differently, saying “my biggest concern continues to be a low bar set for him on expectations”.

Donald’s opponent Hillary Clinton, 68, has a wide advantage with black voters, per KSBW, and these citizens could very well decide the next presidential election.

Trump later thanked and hugged King as he took the stage.

It encompasses all women, people of color, blacks, and all freedom-loving people coming together to support themselves under the leadership of the dynamic, the human man that will fight for your rights, Donald Trump.

Mike Pence is defending Donald Trump against new criticism of how the Republican presidential hopeful used his charitable foundation.

Having a speaker drop the n-bomb is probably the last thing Donald wanted, as the ex-Celebrity Apprentice star is trying to reach out to black voters.

GOP officials including chairman Reince Preibus had reportedly convinced Mr Trump not to invite Mr King to speak at previous events.

Donnie T. showed up in King’s old neighborhood Cleveland Heights for a church event Wednesday, and both offered their usual bombastic blitz, sprinkled in with the “N” word from King.

While stating that he was a “tremendous believer in the police”, Trump indicated that he felt some police officers who he called “chokers” are psychologically unfit for work in law enforcement and should be removed.
