Only woman Brenda Delgado on Federal Bureau of Investigation most wanted list is caught
The extradition may take months or even a year. The only woman on the FBI’s Most Wanted List, Delgado has been apprehended in Mexico for orchestrating the murder of her ex’s girlfriend Kendra Hatcher.

Delgado will be detained at a Mexico City jail pending her extradition to the United States, PGR said in a statement.
Dallas County Sheriff’s Department Brenda Delgado, 33, was wanted on a capital murder charge in connection with the death of Dallas dentist Kendra Hatcher.
Brenda Delgado’s capture in Mexico means she will not face the death penalty, but could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted.
The accused gunman, Kristopher Love, and the woman accused of driving him to the parking garage, Crystal Cortes, were both in custody and facing capital murder charges.
Delgado was jealous of Hatcher’s relationship with her ex, and the catalyst for the alleged crime came when she heard they were planning a vacation together.
The accomplices allegedly killed Hatcher while she was gathering items from her vehicle in her apartment complex’s parking garage.
“He thought he had an in with the cartel”, Dallas police Detective Lee Thompson said.
The jilted lover convinced two other individuals to kill the 35-year-old dentist in exchange for money and a regular supply of drugs from other disreputable contacts. The FBI adding Delgado to the Most Wanted list added pressure on Mexican authorities to make an arrest, sources said.
Before Delgado, she was the last woman added to the list.
Federal investigators had told a news conference on Wednesday that they were offering a $100,000 reward for her arrest.
Delgado was captured on Friday by agents from Mexico’s Criminal Investigations Agency after being on the run for seven months.
Delgado was located at a private home on a narrow residential street of blocky, one- and two-story homes that invariably have bars on windows and gates.

Delgado was arrested in the Mexican town of Torreón, Coahuila, according to the release.
