Oops – Donald Trump retweeted a quote from the founder of fascism
It turns out that the Republican frontrunner retweeted the quote from a fake account set up with lines from Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.

Trump, who has suggested building a wall to keep Mexicans out of the United States, had not deleted the tweet three hours after he posted it.
We came up with the idea for that Mussolini bot under the assumption that Trump would retweet just about anything, no matter how dubious or vile the source, as long as it sounded like praise for himself.
“Look, Mussolini was Mussolini”, Trump responded. It’s OK. It’s a very good quote.
“Sure. It’s okay to know it’s Mussolini”, Trump responded. It’s a very interesting quote. “While I hear the Koch brothers are in big financial trouble (oil), word is they have chosen little Marco Rubio, the lightweight from Florida”, Trump tweeted.
“You wouldn’t want me to condemn the group that I know nothing about”.
Trump’s retweet was favorited more than 3,800 times. And we do interesting things. “And I sent out and certainly, hey, it got your attention, didn’t it?” he asked Todd. “At times, his reposts have been questionable, including retweets from accounts associated with white nationalists”. Okay?” Trump said. “I don’t know anything about what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists.

“That’s probably why I have, between Facebook and Twitter, 14 million people”, Trump said of his followers.
