The movie Oppam is getting a tough competition from Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Oozham which is releasing today.

Rajinikanth, who maintains close ties with both Mohanlal and director Priyadarshan, had expressed his desire to watch the movie and the director immediately arranged a first show for the Robot man at his Chennai residence. The movie has huge star cast including Tamil versatile actor Samuthirakani. The trailer also features Baby Meenakshi, Nedumudi Venu, Chemban Vinod, Vimala Raman, Renji Panicker and Anusree. He works as an elevator operator in an apartment where many reputed people live.

Oppam is the story of Jayaraman (Mohanlal) who is a blind man. One day he happens to witness a murder in a flat. The one minute 46 seconds trailer was released a few days back, and it got a tremendous response from viewers. The killer escapes and operator Jayaraman will be charged with the crime based on the incidental evidence. How will Jayaraman prove his innocence and help the policemen catch the right murderer forms the rest of the plot. It has been edited by “Premam”-director Alphonse Puthren”. The movie is starring a very wonderful star-cast and they are Mohanlal, Samuthirakani, Vimala Raman, Anusree, Nedumudi Venu, Mamukkoya, and Arjun Nandhakumar in primary roles. The movie got a very wonderful plotting of story which counts another fantastic thing which is the excellent acting by the characters. Oppam is distributed by Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments.
