Oppo F1s selfie-focused smartphone to launch on August 3 in India

OPPO claims the F1s will be one of its “core products for the second half of 2016” – indicating just how successful the F1 line has already been for the company. It will launched in multiple countries on 3rd August. Well, Oppo is keeping the specifics under wraps for now, but if we had to guess we’ll probably see a processor upgrade, perhaps more RAM and an upgraded rear camera sensor – likely with 4K video recording and faster phase detection autofocus.

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is all set to launch its next camera-focused smartphone Oppo F1s in India. Oppo Mobile’s India handle out a tweet confirming the August 3 launch.

Oppo has announced the launch of its next selfie-focused smartphone, the Oppo F1s, for next month. The F1 was launched in January 2016 and the F1 Plus was launched in April 2016 in the Indian Smartphone Market.

The Oppo F1 Plus on the other hand bears a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, with an f/2.2 aperture. The Handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Operating system with ColorOS 3.0 skin on the top. The company took to social media channels to make the announcement.

The F1 Plus retails in India at a price of Rs 26,990 and boasts of a full-metal unibody that oddly resembles the iPhone 6S. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 coating with pixel density of 294ppi.

The Oppo F1 plus is packed with 64GB of Internal storage that can be expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The company say that F series smartphones will inherit a great quality camera performance and astonishing design that have earned accolades for OPPO’s flagship series from their predecessor.
