Oppressive Heat, Humidity Settled Into Minnesota
Thursday temperatures are forecast to soar into the mid 90s, but with high humidity, things will feel even hotter.

Friday: Continued hot. High 101. Our body’s ability to cool itself is challenged during high heat and humidity.
Overnight temperatures in Greater Boston will fall into the low 60s, and the comfortable weather is expected to return on Thursday.
I can’t say it enough. If you have outside plans like mowing, today would be the best day to be outside. The heat index at noon will be right at 100 degrees and we may be nearing 110 degrees by 4:00 p.m.

Excessive Heat Warning through Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Highs could reach into the mid-90s. Temperatures hover in the mid 90s with heat index values in the unsafe category once again, between 105 to 115 degrees.
Wednesday night: Lots of moonshine under clear skies. Lows in the lower 70s.
Thursday: The heat continues. Heat index values back to near 110 degrees.

A dome of hot air is spreading over the Upper Midwest, and it will be with us until Friday evening. New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Nashville, and Atlanta haven’t reached 100 degrees or above since July 2012.
