Oregon Ducks vs. Washington Huskies: Start time, TV coverage, how to watch

It’s a point of pride for the Ducks; a portion of history the Huskies would rather forget.

It has been a rough season for Oregon (3-3) as they attempt to rebound from a loss to Washington State past year. Freeman has been one of the few bright spots for the disappointing Ducks, who reached last season’s national championship game but are under.

Combine those surprising shortcomings with Washington’s equally surprising 17-12 upset victory at USC last week – the Huskies were 17-point underdogs – and a belief is born that suggests UW might finally, actually, really have a chance to beat the team by which it has been dominated for the last 11 seasons.

“It’s very easy to sit here and put at what’s wrong, and put directly at me, 100 percent, but we have to be in the solution business. So, to me, it’s the same old Oregon team”. He’s thrown for 1133 yards, with five touchdowns and five interceptions.

Furthermore, the fast and uptempo style we’ve all grown so accustomed to seeing from the Oregon program is no longer there. “He’s 235 pounds, fast, got great vision, he’s big, he’s elusive”. The SEC gets all their hype, just like they do every single year.

Yes, you read that line right.

With both teams struggling in the air recently, look for this to be a ground war game, Oregon starting running back Freeman ranks third in the country with 859 yards rushing so far this season and Oregon ranking #1 in the country with 1,912 yards rushing this season.

“We’ve been playing not to lose, and you can’t do that”, Moore said. “Nobody try to do other people’s jobs and just do your job”.

That’s not something they’ve done well against Oregon. The Ducks are 3-3 and have yet to win consecutive games all season. Not only do they have the front seven to slow down Royce Freeman, but they have the secondary to keep Oregon’s receivers in check.

Yeah, it’s been a while.

The series: Washington leads, 58-44-5.

It’s getting to a point where an entire generation might only know about Oregon dominating Washington. The Ducks will have to use their full compliment of weapons on Saturday and that starts at Quarterback.

McKenna Woodford added 10 kills and six digs for the Cougars (14-5, 3-4), who host Oregon on Sunday. The senior starter has had two weeks to heal in the hope of putting on another show at Husky Stadium, where he passed for 475 yards and seven touchdowns last September.
