Orlando shooter’s father attends Hillary Clinton rally
Father of Orlando shooter Omar Mateen has been spotted at a Hillary Clinton rally with his presence becoming a political issue as the Donald Trump camp alleged that the Democratic presidential candidate’s soft stance on Islamist terrorism would have attracted him there.

“The father of the very radical Islamic terrorist who murdered 49 Americans attended the rally, was on television through most of the rally sitting behind Hillary Clinton, and he said he was there because he supports Hillary Clinton, because she’s, quote, good on national security”. He could clearly be seen standing behind Clinton as she addressed the audience.
THE Taliban-supporting father of the terrorist responsible for the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history says he was invited to stand behind Hillary Clinton at a campaign rally.
A Clinton campaign official said at the time that Mateen wasn’t invited to the rally, which was open to the public, and was “unaware of his attendance until after the event”. Seddique Mateen was standing in a crowd behind Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, during a campaign event Monday night, August 8, 2016, in Kissimmee, south of Orlando.
Omar Mateen also supported Hillary, according to a recent Washington Post article by the man who’d reported him to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
When Clinton held a rally in Kissimmee on Monday, she began her remarks by paying tribute to the Pulse victims and acknowledging that many family members are still grieving. Giuliani asked. “I know what attracts him to her”.
Seddique Mateen, who has previously made controversial pro-Taliban and homophobic comments, threw his wholehearted support behind Mrs Clinton following the rally.
“Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump”, Mateen told WPTV.
He said: ” It’s a Democratic party, so everyone can join”.
And when a WPTV reporter tried to speak with Mateen after the event, the Florida resident, wearing a red baseball cap and a moustache, said he did not talk about the massacre.
In an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon, Mateen said that the “general rule of thumb is that God created man for woman, woman for man”. “That would be much better”, he said.

But Ceballo is questioning that message, wondering how the Clinton campaign didn’t notice that Mateen’s father was allowed to be right there, in the center of the crowd behind the podium which Clinton stood and addressed Pulse.
