An Arizona television reporting couple has been arrested after cocaine was found in their 4-month-old baby’s system!

They made their first appearance in court Monday, where both pleaded not guilty.
Police said in the report that Mr. Lisaius also admitted to using cocaine with his wife and a friend at their home. It appears they don’t work at those stations anymore.
The couple took the baby to Oro Valley Hospital, but then left with the baby against medical advice, police reports said. Eventually, the tests were performed and the child tested positive for cocaine. She has since been placed with her maternal grandmother, the Lisaiuses’ attorney Michael Piccarreta told the Arizona Daily Star. Krystin Lisaius has been granted 24-7 contact with the child while Somchai Lisaius is allowed to see the child 12 hours per day. The parents told doctors their child was “limp” and “ragdoll-like” and was “unable to wake up”, the police report stated.
We can not even believe this! Krystin Sorich Lisaius, 26, and her husband, Som Lisaius, 42, were arraigned on three criminal felony charges each in Tucson, Arizona after their baby daughter ingested cocaine through her mother’s breastmilk!
Krystin Lisaius admitted to using cocaine after tests showed the drug in the baby’s body, according to Tucson Weekly, but she said she did not believe the baby would be harmed if 12 hours had passed before breast-feeding the infant. The Lisaiuses deny they refused the tests.

According to a police report, the couple took the child to the Oro Valley Hospital on the morning of May 15 because the baby was lethargic and not eating normally. The couple notes that they only do cocaine about once every six months but search warrant for the family’s home was issued and police found 1.59 grams of cocaine in the home along with a scale, an empty plastic baggie with white residue, and a Tiffany and Co. jewelry box with a rolled-up dollar bill with residue inside of it.
