A win on Sunday accomplishes the first goal in Manchester City’s treble ambitions.

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has claimed that David Ospina is likely to start in between the sticks for Sunday’s EFL Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley.

Despite the comfortable scoreline and a slow start, Ostersunds impressed the Arsenal boss with their fearless philosophy on the ball last time out, and whilst praising them again ahead of the second fixture, he also singled out one player.

Arsene Wenger has stated that he has worries over the fitness of Aaron Ramsey following his groin injury, and is unlikely to field him in the League Cup final come Sunday.

“Olivier used to be in charge of the music selection but now that he’s gone, sometimes I select the music”, said Ospina.

“If we go out and think we will have stroll we could have a bad surprise”.

But in the build up to FA cup semi final and league run in, says his heart wasn’t in it anymore.

“Every single player wants another medal in the cabinet”.

The manager has highlighted that Europa League is an important competition for the club, although they want to get back into the Champions League.

The Frenchman insisted that his former side are one of the favourites to win the tournament, along with Spanish side Atletico Madrid, who were one of the biggest sides to make the unexpected drop from the Champions League into the second tier of European football.

Granted, in of those five of those nine matches – either in the FA Cup or Community Shield, Arsenal needed either extra time or penalties to emerge victorious, but the character and resilience they showed, especially in certain of the FA Cup games, saw them through.
