It’s not as though Ohio State is hurting for cash these days, but a little extra is always nice.
This will not be the first time beer and wine have been sold inside Ohio Stadium though. This fall Ohio State will begin a trial run of beer and wine sales inside Ohio Stadium.
An already elated fan base might grow to be extra cheerful this season as Ohio State introduced it is going to promote beer and wine in its stadium.
Alcohol has been available in similar areas of the Schottenstein Center since its opening in 1998.
According to release from the University, the pilot program will be put in place after input was received from appropriate stakeholders, including the Athletics Council.
The school will monitor and assess the program throughout the season.
