In a post on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, a Microsoft employee showed off a picture of a Xiaomi Mi 4 with Windows 10 OS. Research firm Forrester said in a report that half of all firms plan to upgrade to the new OS by the end of next year.

Windows 10 could potentially be the last version, with Microsoft employee Jerry Nixon saying: “Right now we’re releasing Windows 10, and because Windows 10 is the last version of Windows, we’re all still working on Windows 10”, during the Ignite conference in may.
The introduction of Windows 3.0 and its subsequent update to Windows 3.1 resulted on more than 10 million copies of the graphical user interface being sold and put to use by consumers around the world.

Following the much anticipated “November update”, Skype features that include messaging and video calling, are fully included by default in Windows 10.
Windows has since ballooned into an operating system that does everything from console gaming to controlling satellites.
