‘Outlander’ Season 2 Finale Recap: “Dragonfly in Amber”
EXCLUSIVE: “Outlander” Boss Spills on “Tricky” Season 2 Finale and Brianna’s Debut! .

How Much Screen Time Will Brianna Get in Season Three? Claire and her grown daughter, Brianna, are in Scotland. A visit with the world’s most helpful clerk confirms that the estate’s title was passed from Jamie to his nephew, thanks to a document bearing Claire’s smudged signature. She does the math and realizes that she can’t be Frank’s biological daughter, since she was born less than nine months from Claire’s reappearance. Even though she did a lot of bad things, she will still see Claire as a true friend. They’ve found such love in each other in their brief years together-as Claire later tells her and Jamie’s child, Jamie was the love of her life.
“Like the first two, it’s just an ever evolving story, we never stay in one place with one set of characters”. She proposes they slip some yellow jasmine (Colum’s suicide weapon) into the Prince’s tea. “People across America are losing their minds”. Claire might have finally been able to bury the ghost of Jamie Fraser, and opened up emotionally had not Brianna burst in with an announcement. That being said, you’ll still have nightmares about getting this look-disappointed, but respectful-from steely series judge Paul Hollywood. Jamie asked Rupert for two hours, and Rupert agreed to wait to turn him in. In that time, he and Claire bid Fergus farewell and it’s like he’s left his ideal, wonderful son. She visits Lallybroch, and can hear the voices, envisioning Jamie standing there.
According to previously released teasers, the season 2 finale, titled “Dragonfly in Amber”, will mark the conclusion of the Scottish rebellion storyline and will see Claire (Caitriona Balfe) bidding goodbye to Jamie (Sam Heughan) and leaving 18th century Scotland.
At this point that’s all I can think about and then I’m hit with another surprise. “So there were little subtle hints along the way that maybe it wasn’t the last we’d seen for Geillis Duncan”. She’s still insane and goes by the name Gillian, but still. “She’s the offspring of two characters that you know and love so well, and we were looking to find an actress who has characteristics of both The King of Men and also our lead protagonist, Claire, who is ballsy and amusing and smart”, she said. We don’t know the details of Jamie’s fate, but given the annals of history, Claire assumes he is buried on Culloden in a mass grave with other clansmen. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actress – who already dyed her brunette hair a fiery red after her onscreen father – talked about the ways she expects Outlander fans to place her performance under a microscope. “She goes there with her mom and then her mom discovers things, and freaks out, and then tells her the story”.
Then he tells her how much he loves her, delivers our favorite line from the book, and sends her through the stones.
But as Brianna comes to grips with her mother’s insane time-traveling story and her own origins, Claire gets a shock of her own when Roger reveals James Fraser didn’t die on the field in the Battle of Colludon, leading Claire to one final, inevitable revelation – she has to go back. They witness Geillis pass through while her husband’s body burns on the ground.
Brianna believes her. She urges Roger to give her some research.

The casting of Brianna and Roger is nearly as integral as the casting of Claire and Jamie, and newcomers Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin are off to a solid start.
