An assistant manager at the Zumiez store said the shooting started there.

Police called the incident “not an active shooter situation”.

A gunman at a shopping center shot another man Thursday afternoon before turning the gun on himself in a “domestic-related dispute”, police said.

Investigators say the suspect came into the Zumiez store at The Walk outlet around noon Thursday and fatally shot the manager before turning the gun on himself. “This was an unfortunate domestic violence.two individuals were involved.I think since this is an active investigation it would be inappropriate for me to release any additional information”.

Earlier in the week, one person was killed and four others were injured in a shooting on the Atlantic City Expressway in Hamilton Township.

The mayor said the two knew each other, but their relationship wasn’t immediately clear.

The Walk, also known as the Tanger Outlets, is an outdoor shopping plaza that features over 100 stores.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, Atlantic City Police Department and the State Police are investigating. Eddie Valerio says shoppers were released after 10 minutes and everyone in the store was fine.
