A memorial service was held Sunday for the pregnant mother who was shot and killed inside her Indianapolis home.

“Some people have funerals, and then a few people have celebrations”.
Blackburn was shot once in the head on Tuesday morning after her husband, Davey Blackburn, left for the gym shortly at 6:10 a.m. Witnesses told police that they heard gunfire a half-hour later, and a dark-colored SUV was seen speeding away from the scene, though it’s unclear if the vehicle is connected to the killing.
“Trust [God] because in time he will take this and he will turn this into a miracle”, Perry Noble, of NewSpring Church said at the service.
“That girl didn’t give me five minutes worth of trouble in her life”, Amanda Blackburn’s mother, Robin Byars of Bristol, Ind., said in the video.
Amanda Blackburn’s father is lead pastor of First Baptist Church in Elkhart, Indiana, and Davey Blackburn’s father, Dave Blackburn, is lead pastor at Next Church in Brevard, North Carolina, Swift said. During a news conference Friday, police said that more than one person may have been involved in the crime. She was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries on Thursday.
“For me, in the world that I live in, I thought, maybe she’s climbed up on the kitchen cabinet trying to get something and she fell and hit her head”, Noble said.
“Such a bad thing happened yesterday and we want to make sure that everybody out here knows that we support them, that we are here, we’ve been here, and we’re going to keep coming here”, Commander Dawn Snyder said.

Police say they are searching for a man caught on a neighbor’s surveillance camera who had also had their home broken into.
