“The prosperity that a few enjoy is not shared by the many”, Corbyn will say. Looking at Bulgaria they appear to be aiming for 100% NGA coverage and this is set to mean 50% have access to 100 Mbps and 80% of businesses can get connections exceeding 100 Mbps. Corbyn said unilaterally giving up the weapons would encourage other countries to follow Britain’s lead, while Smith argued that renewing them gives the United Kingdom more leverage in disarmament negotiations. “That’s got to be a wake up call”.

Labour has been plunged into disarray since the Brexit vote on 23 June, when lawmakers dissatisfied at Corbyn’s leadership seized upon the turmoil that followed to demand that he step down.

Corbyn told the audience Labour lost the election in 2015 because Ed Miliband was advocating “austerity lite” and was “not offering a clear enough alternative to the British people”. “We’ve got to offer something different”. “He very plainly can not lead a party and his continued presence as Labour leader makes our ability to build an election-winning, social movement, the likes of which was saw in the late 90s and early 00s, harder not easier”.
