“Due this decision, we are now in the absurd position that Labour HQ is wasting members’ money to prevent members having a democratic vote on the leader of their choice, which has already been firmly upheld by a High Court judgement”.

Recently Ruth Cadbury said that she had voted against Mr. Corbyn in the “no confidence motion” of the Parliamentary Party and doubted his ability to lead Labour into Government.
“I’d really like to go to some of those Momentum rallies with Jeremy”.
“There was a lot of discussion about electability as that is a criticism often levelled at Mr Corbyn”.
A Labour Party supporter later said on social media: “It was an terrible meeting though and I hate voting the same way as people who defend antisemites and shout over women”.
“I want a Labour leader who will reach out to every part of Britain and can do what Labour has done in the past, which is out of this crisis, make a progressive moment”.
Referring to the criteria for voting, Mr Sheldon said the NEC “defines the precise eligibility criteria, meaning it fixes the eligibility criteria, it sets the boundaries, it sets the limits for the eligibility criteria”.
A Labour Party meeting in Jeremy Corbyn’s north London constituency descended into chaos last night after one of his supporters blamed the Israeli ambassador for their leader’s woes and others then shouted down a woman who expressed support for his leadership rival Owen Smith.
Corbyn supporters have also complained that the Smith campaign had unfair earlier access to members’ emails and other data.
We are still not entirely sure when the Labour leadership contest will end, but in these dusty days of recess, it is certainly keeping everyone nicely busy.
An appeal is being made by the NEC on the decision with the results due on today (Thursday 11 August). The appeal enraged shadow chancellor John McDonnell, Jeremy Corbyn’s campaign chief.
The TNS BMRB survey puts the Tories on 39% and Labour on 26%, but a poll from YouGov shows Jeremy Corbyn’s party closing the gap on the Conservatives to seven points.
Responding to the criticism, the Manchester mayoral hopeful insisted he is in a “different position” to other MPs because he pledged to support Mr Corbyn after losing to him a year ago. “I have always found them tirelessly dedicated to the Labour Party and utterly professional in everything they do”.
Lansman added that “Labour Party members and the general public can draw their own conclusions about those things”.

“I have campaigned for and represented the party for over 30 years”.
