NXT fans, rejoice! During a conference call earlier this week, Paul “HHH” Levesque announced that a special NXT Edition of WWE 2K17 will be available alongside the standard version when the game releases this October.

Those who purchase the game will not only get a 50% boost to their customised Superstar’s progress in MyCareer mode, but will be granted exclusive access to play as NXT’s very own Nia Jax, Apollo Crews and Shinsuke Nakamura.
As Finn Balor lost another opportunity at the NXT Title, it adds to the speculation that his main roster debut in WWE is coming closer.
Members of the WWE Universe anxious to get their hands on a Bálor figurine will have to move fast though, as only 50,000 copies of the NXT edition will be available worldwide.
According to 2K there is a release date of 11th of October so plenty of time to save or ask the fat man in the red suit to deliver it at christmas.
Each Superstar’s card will have one of 10 different rarity levels. Pre-order my collector’s edition and I’ll take you on a personal tour to Suplex City when I don my blue wig and become Bad News Bonthuys again.
Also Shinsuke Nakamura, Nia Jax and Apollo Crews will be exclusive to the WWE 2K17 NXT Edition.
2K Games also confirmed to us that Nakamura will actually be a Collector’s Edition exclusive on launch and not in the full game initially. I think you’re going to see NXT become more and more a part of [the WWE 2K series] over the years.

The NXT Enhancement Pack-which includes the three stars-will be available for purchase later this year as downloadable content. PS3 and Xbox 360 players can purchase the NXT stars as DLC on launch day.
