Owners want solution to Liverpool ticket row
Liverpool fans are protesting over the decision to charge £77 for match tickets to the club’s new main stand from next season.

It’s been a turbulent few days around the club with the recently-announced ticket price restructuring going down like a lead balloon, leading to thousands of supporters leaving Anfield in protest at the 77th minute on Saturday.
Carragher was one of those people who joined in the walk-out and he used his column in the Daily Mail to argue that the proposed top-level ticket price of £77 at Anfield next season is too much.
A bout of appendicitis caused manager Jurgen Klopp to miss Saturday’s 2-2 draw at home to Sunderland, which saw some 10,000 supporters walk out in protest at rising ticket prices. The walkout was done in a very positive way without any hassle whatsoever. I hope the club’s response is as good as the protest was.
“It’s supposed to be a game for the fans whether you can afford or not afford tickets, it’s a game for everybody”.
He scored 21 goals in 29 Premier League appearances in the 2013-14 season and if he could get back to anything near that sort of form this term, it would go a long way to helping ninth-placed Liverpool climb the table.
Liverpool are also boosted by the potential return to fitness of midfielder Philippe Coutinho and striker Divock Origi.
Klopp underwent an operation to have his appendix removed on Saturday and it is not clear whether he will be able to travel to east London for the fourth-round replay.
“I don’t know if it’s realistic, but we will see”.
Speaking ahead of the game, Klopp was quoted as saying by liverpoolfc.com: “We haven’t decided about the starting line-up”.
Robbie Fowler has warned Liverpool that Jurgen Klopp will need time to turnaround the Merseyside outfit. “For 82 minutes we played really well and battled well”.
It claims that a plan for a £30 cap on away tickets has been backed by clubs including Everton, Newcastle United, Southampton and Bournemouth, but opposed by wealthier teams including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Goalkeeper: Number one goalkeeper Simon Mignolet started in the original tie as Adam Bogdan has fallen out of favour so I suspect the Belgian will keep the gloves on Tuesday night. We have to figure out how we do it best. It will not be like Exeter because a lot of players are available and it will be good for them to play.
