Ozil, Sanchez give Arsenal some Champions League hope
Even victory on Tuesday may not be enough if Bayern Munich fail to beat Olympiakos in Germany.

Those results mean that Bayern are through to the knockout round and Arsenal will join them if they beat Olympiakos by two clear goals in Greece on December 9.
They added a second goal in the 33rd minute when Dinamo Zagreb turned the ball over in their own penalty area.
Presumably about to ask the Frenchman about his transfer plans, a reporter said to Wenger after Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb: “I know you don’t like to spend money…”
The Gunners gave their chance of progressing into the next round a big boost following their 3-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb. “We do not need to discuss that too much”, he said.
Dinamo’s attacking impotence made the second half routine for Arsenal and, after Aaron Ramsey came on for his first appearance for a month, the imperious Sanchez capped his latest masterclass in the 69th minute.
The Arsenal manager expects a hostile atmosphere, but he doesn’t believe it will get out of hand despite the recent cancellation of the Panathinaikos against Olympiakos clash due to serious crowd trouble.
“That is what we needed in today’s round”.
“You have to trust Uefa and the organisation over there to ensure it is handled well”.
“We would take the competition seriously – but we are not out (of the Champions League) yet”, he said.
Responding to Bayern’s early goals, Mesut Ozil sent Arsenal in front after half an hour with a diving header from Alexis Sanchez’s cross.
Wenger went on to praise the impact of Sanchez in the game.
Sanchez meanwhile was full of life, quite the accolade for a man who could easily be battle-worn after an extended spell in the sides of both club and country, and his willingness to run, hassle and battle for possession does not go unnoticed.
“I think they need some bodies back, certainly to strengthen the bench because it could be of them games which goes right to the wire”.
Alexis Sanchez was undoubtedly the player of game for Arsenal.
“Olivier Giroud had a little problem on his ankle over the weekend, so I chose to give him a little breather. We had a game of quality and control”.

“Im not sure that 11 is capable of going there and getting the result they need”, Gerrard told BT Sport.
