Packers’ Eddie Lacy inactive vs. Lions

Aaron Rodgers has been putting up strong numbers and he comes into the game with 1937 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and three interceptions. The Packers recovered the kick at the Lions 49-yard line and hit a couple pass plays to set up a 52-yard field goal attempt with five seconds left. Naturally, Rodgers led the Packers down on an eight play, 73-yard drive in just 1:23 capped off with an 11-yard touchdown pass to Justin Perillo.

That kept the possession going, and the Lions made it 18-10 on Stafford’s TD pass to Lance Moore with 1:57 left, but they might not have done it without that first down.

The final result hardly falls on the shoulders of Crosby at all.

8 – Consecutive completions for Stafford after his 1-for-7 start. If Calvin does wind up playing, just how much of threat will he be? Last Sunday’s loss to the Panthers saw a bit of a return to form for Rodgers, but the offense was still falling short. There are adjustments to be made, and but whether Mike McCarthy and the rest of the Packers coaching staff actually make them still remains to be seen. Let’s take a look. Prior to the two losses, Green Bay had knocked off, in succession, Chicago, Seattle, Kansas City, San Francisco, St Louis and San Diego. It’s the first game Lacy has missed this season, but it’s not the first time he’s been injured. To make matters worse, the team must play their next three games in just a 12-day span (Detroit on the Nov. 15, at Minnesota on the Nov. 22, and then at home on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26), something that no player would be happy about. He’s one of the best quarterbacks in the National Football League and seems to play even better at Lambeau. Without an effective running game, Rodgers has looked helpless at times moving the Packers through the air. “We’ve had good preparation, Tom’s in every meeting and there’s not a time where I say something about something I like or dislike in the plan that he’s not within earshot to hear that”.

“I think we’ll be more confident in the details that we have in a few new things that have been thrown at us, ” wide receiver Golden Tate said.

We don’t know what it was but Aaron Rodgers certainly heard it. And during his postgame commentary, when asked what he thought about the tribute, called out the fan in question.

Answer: For this franchise, people in it, fans who support the Detroit Lions – it means everything. “They brought you here for this moment, ‘” Quin said.
