Packers even NFC North race, beat Vikings 30-13
One of the most beloved players in Packers history is recovering from two strokes and a heart attack, and his family has said it is hopeful he will be at Lambeau on Thursday. It came back to hurt us.

Perhaps the Vikings were lulled into a false sense of security playing some lesser teams up to this point of the season.
All three of them could be at Lambeau Field for one memorable Thanksgiving night.
“You’ve got to be able to win when the whole world is watching”, Munnerlyn said.
The Minnesota Vikings took a step backwards on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Against the Packers, they were pushed around in all facets. They can also use Langford and Forte as a tandem, keeping both fresh at the end of the game.
Lacy rushed 22 times for a season-high 100 yards against the Vikings after totaling 72 on the ground in the previous four games combined.
“Offensively, defensively, they were the most physical team”, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson said.
Making things more hard is the fact that tight end Martellus Bennett has been ruled out for the game.
The Packers defense hushed any doubters when it came to stopping Peterson, holding the league’s leading rusher to just 45 yards on 13 carries and coming up with a key second half fumble recovery.
The Green Bay Packers are planning for Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr to make an appearance on the field Thursday night, when the team adds Brett Favre’s No. 4 to Lambeau Field’s façade.
“I still believe in this football team and i believe in everything about us”, he said.
Plenty, though, hurt the Vikings. Green Bay may have quieted it’s critics for the time being, but if they are unable to repeat Sunday’s performance, the panic could quickly return.
“Can’t win playing the way we did; too many mistakes”, Zimmer said. The Packers defeated the Vikings 30-15.
The Packers were hungry after losing three games in a row. In this segment I will provide my three points to take away from Sundays game against MN, and I will follow up this article with a Rivalry Week segment for the Thanksgiving Day special.
“But then once they had, I realized, ‘That’s, you know, that’s got Favre’s and some other guys autographs – don’t wipe it off.’ I tried to get (equipment manager) Red Batty not to wipe off those autographs”.
“I think sometimes we play a little better when we start to get questioned”, said Rodgers, who was a ho-hum 16 for 34 for 212 yards but brilliant when he needed to be on third-down scoring passes to Jones and Randall Cobb.

Wide receiver James Jones, held without a catch last week in a loss to the Detroit Lions, caught five balls for 106 yards and a pretty, toe-dragging touchdown along the left sideline, which essentially put the game on ice. Kicker Blair Walsh missed the extra point to the right, giving Minnesota its only lead of the game at 6-3. Jay Cutler is completing 63.4 percent of his passes for 2,310 yards, 13 touchdowns and six interceptions.
