Packers Letroy Guion Appealing Three Game Suspension

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, the Packers defensive tackle has filed a motion in court in an attempt to recover the property which was seized when he was arrested in February.

Guion, who signed a one-year, $2.75 million deal with the Packers, is expected to face a suspension from the NFL for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

Guion was notified of the three-game ban this week, according to Demovsky, and has already begun the appeal process. Neither Guion nor his agent, Seth Katz, could be reached for immediate comment Thursday, and it’s unknown when the appeal hearing will be held. He would lose three game checks totaling $264,706.

If the appeal stands, Guion would miss the team’s matchups with the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs, the latter two of which take place in primetime. Guion is suing to get those possessions back. Guion found out about the suspension this week.
