Packers looking for first home division win

Washington is winless this season against playoff teams and they could potentially win their division with an 8-8 record. NBC’s Tony Dungy asked of the Vikings who lost 30-13 to Green Bay in the first meeting last month. Sure, the Vikings haven’t won in Lambeau Field since Brett Favre was leading the purple and gold, but this team could compete with that one toe-to-toe and its defense and rushing attack will be huge advantages. “Sometimes, I’m really amazed at a guy that’s a second-year linebacker that didn’t play behind the line in college”, Zimmer said. “This is our opportunity to win a division championship”.

Trump on Clinton, Bush: ‘We view this as war’
Later in his speech, Trump remarked that “the last thing [Clinton] wants in her whole life” is to face him in a general election. Clinton’s public comments came as President Obama was in a re-election campaign making claims al-Qaida was “on the run”.

Japan agrees to ‘comfort women’ talks: minister
In the face of criticism, President Park Geun Hye has launched an all-out campaign to win public support for the deal. China took a different tack, with state media slamming Japan’s long-awaited mea culpa as insincere and insufficient.

Rodgers had to play last week behind a makeshift offensive line, and it showed. The Packers’ line gave up nine sacks last weekend to Arizona, while the Vikings had four sacks against the Giants. “There’s a big difference when he’s in the ballgame because he sees things”.

Sydney’s biggest show kicks off global party despite terror fears
Samoa was the first nation to see in 2016, with New Zealand the first nation with a sizeable population to celebrate the New Year. New York: Around 1 million people were expected to converge on New York City’s Times Square for the annual celebration.

Whichever team performs to the best of its abilities will be rewarded with a home playoff game.

If this were the Old West, Zimmer and Packers coach Mike McCarthy would meet outside the saloon at high noon.

Over the past two games, defensive tackle Tom Johnson has three sacks, defensive Danielle Hunter 2-1/2 and Robison two. The Denver Broncos are predicted to beat the San Diego Chargers to finish with the No. 2 seed, and the Cincinnati Bengals are picked to beat the Baltimore Ravens to finish with the No. 3 seed.

“Well, our quality control guys are breaking down each opponent – each possible opponent – so we have a jump start when we do get the final word who we’re playing, and when I’ll at least have them all broken down already”, Coach Jay Gruden said.

Green: What many people seem to forget (or maybe never knew) was that the Cardinals only signed Chris Johnson in the middle of training camp because Ellington and David Johnson were dealing with nagging hamstring injuries. “Tom Johnson is not playing near as many plays, so he gets a chance to concentrate a little bit more on rushing”.

Going to the game with hopes of scalping a ticket?

The Bears did allow a blocked punt – special teams have been awful for most of the year – setting up an easy Bucs touchdown, but the defense played well for most of the game, allowing seven points on the short drive following the blocked punt and on a Hail Mary when the game was locked up. The Packers are staggering after a 38-8 dismantling by Arizona while the Vikings are fresh off two blowout victories.

Rodgers, though, is mobile – even if it didn’t appear so against the Cardinals. McCarthy on Wednesday only would say that Bakhtiari is “getting better”.

MC: “How they defend Rodgers depends on how they stop the run”.

Bernhardt is jumping back on the Packers. They went 9-4-1 during the regular season, but did lose their two games which included a loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He also has a 94-yard effort against them.

Running back Eddie Lacy has averaged 107 yards rushing on 23 carries in five career games against Minnesota. And in order for this team to take the next step in their development, they need to get over that green and yellow hill and get to the top of the division.
