Packers offense out of sync, defense without Matthews
Green Bay plays the Detroit Lions on Sunday, though, and might have the upper hand, as it’s the home opener at Lambeau Field. Six different starters were shaken up in last week’s loss to the Tennessee Titans. On the defense, Detroit is yielding 25.5 points and 406.5 yards against the opponents. Packers 35 Lions 14. The Green Bay Packers are not off to a great start this season. He injured his left ankle early in the game but returned after the Packers trainers taped it.
Weather could play a factor in this game, with scattered thunderstorms expected on Sunday.
Tight end Eric Ebron and tackle Riley Reiff also missed time due to ailments.
Green Bay also will be without Morgan Burnett after the starting safety was ruled out on Saturday with a groin injury.

Detroit has seen this NFC North rivalry swing in its favor in recent years.
Through two games, Rodgers had completed just 57.1 percent of his passes, averaged 5.9 yards per pass attempt and had a passer rating of 82.6.
Rodgers did not throw a touchdown pass in the second half, but the Packers hung on to win 34-27. The ensuing win probability chart looked like a stock market relic from October 29, 1929.
The Lions won at Lambeau Field last season, their first victory in Wisconsin since 1991.
