Padres use 6 pitchers to shut out Giants, 4-0

The Padres look to shake off a tough extra innings loss to the Colorado Rockies yesterday as they head into AT&T Park to face off with the San Francisco Giants on Monday for their series opener against their divisional and in-state rivals.

Whatever momentum the Giants had built in Arizona, where they scored 23 runs in three games, seemed to dissipate upon their return home.

The 33-year-old, twice a 14-game victor earlier in his career with the Padres, has gone 2-2 with a 1.15 ERA in seven appearances, including five starts, since rejoining the club in August after a two-year stint with the Chicago Cubs.
