Paisley Park public tour tickets on sale Friday
The Official Paisley Park website went live at 3 p.m. ET, as expected, following the announcement by the late icon’s estate administrators Wednesday that his 65,000-square-foot complex in Chanhassen, Minn., would be turned into a museum and opened for daily paid public tours starting October 6.

Tickets for public tours of Prince’s home/studio complex Paisley Park went on sale Friday at two price points: $38.50 for general admission and $100 for the VIP tour.
The museum will also present thousands of Prince’s personal items, including his often sensational concert outfits, musical instruments, cars and motorcycles.
“‘Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on, ‘ Tyka Nelson said in the press release issued by Bremer Trust, the special administrator of Prince’s still-unresolved estate”.
“Now, fans from around the world will be able to experience Prince’s world as we open the doors to this incredible place”.
Fans will get the chance to look through the main floor of Paisley Park, including the recording studios where Prince recorded and produced some of his biggest hits. But court filings indicate they’ll likely include Tyka Nelson and five half siblings because Prince was divorced, his parents are dead and he had no confirmed children.
In October, guests will be able to tour through his recording studios, video-editing rooms, rehearsal rooms and the performance hall. “Most important, the museum will display Prince’s genius, honor his legacy, and carry forward his strong sense of family and community”. Information on tickets and tours is available at OfficialPaisleyPark.com. “It keeps his music alive”, said John Kellogg, who teaches music business and management at Berklee College of Music. Paisley Park will continue to be owned by Prince’s estate. For the last four months, since the iconic musician’s unexpected death at the age of 57, the status of the 50,000-square-foot home had been up in the air. Graceland, where Presley died in 1977, has welcomed more than 20 million visitors since opening to the public, averaging over 600,000 annually in recent years.

An advisory council will also be created in order to “provide valuable input on the entire experience”, according to Bremer Trust President Craig Ordal.
