Gloucestershire chief executive Will Brown said: “We are absolutely delighted to be hosting an England versus Sri Lanka Royal London ODI next June”.

Glamorgan members will enjoy priority access to 2016 worldwide tickets from Wednesday 16 September with general sale to launch on Thursday 1 October.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is expecting a huge contingent of Sri Lankan and Pakistani fans as it prepares to host the two teams for a full series next year.

On their last visit to Ireland in May 2013, a Paul Stirling century and an unbeaten 84 from Kevin O’Brien saw Ireland claim a dramatic tie in the first game.

Before the Pakistan series next year, England hosts Sri Lanka between May and July for three tests, five ODIs and a T20 game.

Sri Lanka will play a five-match one-day series and a Twenty20 global after the series.

“They have been unwavering in their support this summer and we would urge as many as possible to return to our worldwide venues next summer”.

It’ll be the first Test Match at the ground since England dramatically won the Ashes in Durham in 2013.

Pakistan’s tour will then conclude with The Ageas Bowl, Lord’s, Trent Bridge, Headingley and The SSE SWALEC staging Royal London One-Day Internationals and Emirates Old Trafford staging the final global action of the summer; a NatWest worldwide T20.
