PAF fighter jet crashed in Jamrud area of Khyber Agency, reported Dunya News. Fighter aircraft F7 PG was completely destroyed after the crash.

Though officials claim the aircraft crashed due to a technical fault, a board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident.

Heavy contingent of security forces arrived at the site of the crash following the incident.

Pakistan’s armed forces have had several air accidents in the past 18 months, including a crash that killed female jet pilot in another training exercise in November.
