Khan, an agent of ISI, was involved in gathering information concerning the deployment of security forces and information on the Indian Air Force.

A crime branch team arrested Khan from the Jammu railway station when he had boarded a train for Bhopal.

Suspected ISI agent Mohammand Eizaz was arrested by the police at Meerut.

For this goal, he cultivated his sources in Army and BSF and they started passing on the information to PIO.The information was passed through e-mail, whatsapp and viber. Rasheed is his relative, the police said.

The six arrests are not inter-linked, but form part of the ISI plan to hit India. Sources said Kafiatullah Khan was selected in BSF as well as Jammu and Kashmir Police, but did not join either force.

“Some secret documents related to national security were also seized from their possession”, the official said.

Four of the arrests were made in Jammu and Kolkata on Sunday – one of the men arrested was a personnel of the Border Security Force.

He was reportedly kept under scanner soon after Delhi police and security agencies came to know about his role in spying.

In Kolkata, the Special Task Force of the city Police arrested a contract labourer, his son and another relative for their alleged links to the Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

The Delhi Police so far has been tight lipped about link between Khan and Rasheed and some of the other modules busted in the country by State Police Forces but did not dismiss the possibility.

According to Police officials, Khan lured Rasheed to give the sensitive information.

Ijaz, a Pakistani national, left Islamabad in 2013 and reached Bangladesh from where he sneaked into Bengal through the Basirhat border in North 24 Parganas district.
