Pakistan link to café siege: Dhaka rejects Indian media reports as ‘nonsense’
To the embarrassment of the Indian media, which should now apologise for playing such a unsafe game, Pakistan was supported by Adviser to the Prime Minster of Bangladesh Professor Gowher Rizvi, who completely refuted the Indian media story attributed to him about Pakistan’s involvement in the attack. It is because of Pakistan, many terrorists are involved in subversive activities in many countries. “He also advised Pakistan’s High Commissioner to convey this clarification to the Government of Pakistan, to avoid any misunderstanding between the two countries”, the Foreign Office spokesman said.

It was one of the deadliest militant attacks to date in Bangladesh, where Islamic State and al Qaeda have claimed a series of killings of liberals and religious minorities in the a year ago.
Adviser to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, HT Imam had claimed that the attacks had no links to ISIS, but to ISI.
According to Inu, members of Pakistani establishment continue to maintain relations with the war criminals of Bangladesh, and provide assistance to fundamentalist outfits like Jamaat-e-Islami.
Thirteen survivors were also rescued at the end of the siege in an upmarket neighbourhood of the capital Dhaka, including three foreigners.
“These are highly regrettable, irresponsible and provocative stories being carried in the Indian media”.
“They are utterly baseless and unfounded and Pakistan strongly rejects such allegations”, said MoFA spokesperson Mohammed Nafees Zakaria in a statement issued in Islamabad.
“In this context, he drew attention to the statement by the Adviser to the Prime Minster of Bangladesh, Prof”.
He said Pakistan deeply appreciates Gowher Rizvi’s timely rebuttal of the media reports regarding the attack that was claimed by the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group. “Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations”, the spokesman asserted.
