Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday left for Oslo to attend a conference on education and separately hold bilateral talks with Norwegian leadership to deepen relations.

Talking to the chief executive officer (CEO) of Telenor Norway Jon Fredrik Baksaas, on the sidelines of the Oslo Summit, the PM said investment policy has been designed to provide a comprehensive framework for creating a conducive business environment for the attraction of Foreign Direct Investment.
“Prior to the bilateral meeting, we witnessed the signing of an agreement for a solar power project which will be built in Pakistan with the cooperation of Norway”, he added.
Referring to the meeting taking place between the Afghan authorities and the Taliban, he hoped that there would be a positive outcome, “which will be very helpful for peace and security in Afghanistan”.
The prime minister will also meet Crown Prince of Norway Haakon Magnus.
The Prime Minister said heavy investment has been made in telecommunication sector of Pakistan. She said she had a dream of serving Pakistan, and do something for the underprivileged children of the country.
During his visit, the PM will participate in the Oslo Summit on Education for Development and interact with several world leaders.
He said education was now a provincial subject in Pakistan.
She said the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would go a long way in bringing prosperity to people living in all parts of Pakistan, providing them better access to education and health facilities.
PM said that 600,000 children admitted in school across the country.

“Natural climates caused huge damages to schools in Pakistan”, he added.
