The army has been on high alert in the dense forest area where terrorists tried to enter today. The decision to bury the bodies also had much to do with their poor condition; they were badly charred and doctors, after examining the bodies, were of the opinion that they could not be embalmed or preserved.

Chouhan further said that acting on tit a tat policy the Indian Army on Tuesday killed ten terrorists and warned the Pakistan that it should fix its condition and direction for future. Indian soldiers returned the fire and kept vigil around to monitor any cross border movement.

Echoing similar sentiments, BJP leader Satyapal Singh spoke on the infiltration bid and said that economic sanctions should be imposed on Islamabad. “There were at least 15 who tried to cross over”.

Source said that using small and automatic arms, the Pakistan troops targeted Indian posts in Lachhipora and Boniyar villages of the border area but were not able to cause any damage to Indian posts.

A soldier died and two others have been injured in an encounter with terrorists trying to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir’s Naugam on Tuesday evening.

“All four killed were foreign terrorists and had some items with them which had Pakistani markings”. The terror attack has heightened tensions between India and Pakistan. The Indian Army by killing the terrorists and foiling their cross over bid have sent signals of coming days to the neighboring terrorist nation, he added.

The four attackers gunned down during the two-and-a-half hours of gunfight were foreigners. “A group of 10-12 terrorists attempted to infiltrate the Uri sector”.
