According to details, Musharraf while at home was sitting with family when he fainted.
Doctors at the hospital were quoted, saying that they are yet to take a call on whether the former president would remain admitted in the hospital for a few days.
“There is nothing serious with him as it was only high blood pressure”. He said he was admitted to the hospital for getting some medical tests done.
Musharraf on January 18 was acquitted in the murder case of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) leader Nawab Akbar Bugti.
He returned to Pakistan in March 2013 after almost four years of self-imposed exile to contest elections, despite the possibility of arrest and death threats from the Taliban.

Musharraf has also been charged in connection with the 2007 assassination of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and the killing of a radical cleric in Islamabad in a military crackdown.
