Pakistan, Saudi Arabia to cement ties
Saudi Defence Minister Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud Sunday held meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, and exchanged views with them on regional peace and especially the situation in Middle East.

Bilateral ties, affairs of mutual interest as well as regional and worldwide issues also came under discussion at the meeting. They agreed to promote bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation in matters of mutual interests.
Saudi Arabia’s defence minister called Pakistan an important country of the region and said that Pak-Saudi friendship is getting stronger and stronger with the passage of time.
He had earlier visited Pakistan in January this year.
In turn, the Pakistani prime minister sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the crown prince.
Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and COAS Gen Raheel Sharif were present at the airports to see off the distinguish guest.
