The visit comes amid controversy over the India and Pakistan match scheduled to be played in Dharamsala on March 19.

All arrangements have been completed for the security experts to leave for India today.

The members to leave from Pakistan include Director FIA Usman Anwar and Colonel Azam from the Ministry of Interior while Mr Anwar will lead the team, they added.

The government had initially granted the PCB permission to play in India, but the board has chose to put the visit on hold until they are guaranteed foolproof security.

The much-anticipated match has been thrown into jeopardy after HP Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said the game should be shifted out to respect popular sentiment after the Pathankot terror attacks.

Mr Singh said last Sunday that the match should be moved to another venue as he might not be able to provide security to Pakistani cricket team because of a recent attack on airbase by some terrorists allegedly linked to some figures in Pakistan.

“The statement by the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister is an irresponsible one and is totally against the standards of hospitality and hosting”, said the cricketer turned politician while talking to the media.

The three member team will submit its report to Pakistani Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan and PCB officials.

“The trip can be delayed until we are sure they will be safe”.

“If the Pakistan team come to Dharamsala to play against Indian cricket team, we will dig the pitch in HPCA stadium”, Virender Shandilya, national president of Anti-Terrorist Front of India, said. “We will only give a green signal for the team to go to India once we get security clearance”. He also called for India to publicly acknowledge Pakistan’s participation in the tournament and to also promise full security to their cricket team.
