Over 50 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred and over 3500 wounded including 120 have lost their vision after the Indian forces used brutal force against them, he informed the lawmakers. “It is being reported that around 400 injured are in critical condition and more than 70 of the injured may have become permanently blind”, Aziz said in comments made available by the Pakistan high commission in New Delhi.
Attacking Pakistan, Mr. Singh said that “there is an attempt to misguide” the youth in the Valley and that a “mindset that stokes baseless anger against India” was being fostered among them. He added that “the just struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination can not be equated with terrorism”.
Pakistan played a key role in fomenting the recent trouble in Kashmir and it was sponsoring terrorism in India, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said today.
Every possible effort would be made to draw global attention towards Indian brutalities in the IoK and to resolve the dispute, the Pakistan Foreign Adviser said.
Shabbir Shah said that if the worldwide community was true to its claims of humanity and democracy than it had to come to the rescue of the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir.
The communiqué advised the government to stop misleading the global community and Kashmiris through what it called were the meaningless exercises such as the ongoing elections in the AJK. This came in view of the threats of marches and protests at the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.
