“Aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir could neither be ignored nor put on the back burner”.
The day dawned with special prayers in the mosques across AJK for the stability, prosperity, security and speedy progress of the Islamic republic of Pakistan and for the early success of the Kashmiris indigenous struggle for the achievement of their legitimate right to self determination through the liberation of the occupied territory from the long Indian subjugation.
Speaking at meeting of Pakistan Senate’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Iran’s Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif said Tehran’s relations with India would not affect its ties with Islamabad. “Pakistan will always help the Kashmir people, who are fighting for their freedom”, he added.
Hurriyat leaders on Friday felicitated the people and the government of Pakistan on the eve of their Independence Day and have prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the country. “The case is at registry stage, we will prepare reply according to Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir”, Law Minister Syed Basharat Ahmad Bukhari told MAIL TODAY.
India and Pakistan are scheduled to hold the NSA level talks on August 23.

During the talks, it is being expected that the Indian side will produce strong evidences of terrorism taking birth in Pakistan and later coming to India as they have reportedly collected enough proofs of proving a strong involvement of Pakistani terrorist organizations in attacks in Gurdaspur in Punjab and near Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir.
