Pakistani woman arrested for ‘crossing border without passport to meet SRK
A 27 year old lady from Pakistan was recently arrested from the Samjhauta Express in Jalandhar for travelling without a proper visa, ticket or other documents.

The Indian police are now investigating her statements after she was handed over by railway police to Attari police. But after the release of Bollywood hero Salman Khan’s latest film “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, he has suddenly become a star and TV channels are in line to take his interview now.
The film that also features Harshaali Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the pivotal roles has been hailed by trade analysts as all time block buster.
She told the police that she came from Pakistan with an authentic visa and passport; but unfortunately the documents left behind when her uncle, carrying the luggage, got lost during the journey to India. Salman, Shahrukh…are you listening?
She reportedly claimed that she was travelling with her maternal uncle Rashid Khan and she wanted to visit some Dargah to seek blessings of the almighty for having kids. She was made to deboard at Jalandhar.
According to GRP officials, the woman, Chanda, whose husband’s name is Salman Khan and resides in Karachi in Pakistan, had boarded the train from Atari border. “When contacted, the authorities at Attari said they had no information about Chanda Khan”.
The ASP said that 771 Pakistani Rupees have been recovered from her.

She was sent back to Attari in the wee hours where she was booked under the provisions of Passport Act and under section 14 of Foreigners Act.
