Palace bid for Benteke rejected
Liverpool have rejected a fresh bid from Crystal Palace for striker Christian Benteke, according to several reports, including the Daily Telegraph.

Palace are thought to have offered Liverpool an up front fee of £23 million, with £7 million in add-ons – an offer that has been rejected by the Merseysiders.
Reds” boss Jurgen Klopp has made it pretty clear that Benteke’s future lies away from the club but has repeatedly said there won’t be any “gifts’ when it comes to selling players.
Alan Pardew has been in the market for a striker all summer with the Belgium striker top of the list.
Liverpool have been resolute in their demands to recoup the £32.5m they paid Aston Villa for Benteke last summer and want more guaranteed payments as part of any deal.
Palace would appear to be the ideal destination for the Belgian worldwide as their struggles in front of goal cost them towards the end of last season.
Given their desperate situation, it would be a surprise to see Palace drop their interest in Benteke despite the latest snub.

Despite struggling to adapt to Liverpool’s playing style, Benteke scored 10 goals in his first season at the club.
