Palestinian assailant killed after ramming Jerusalem bus station, wounding 9

Recent Palestinian attacks on Israelis have allegedly been carried out by young people – many of whom have used improvised weapons, such as kitchen knives or vehicles – rather than organized resistance groups.

Israeli media later reported that the Palestinian had succumbed to his wounds, identifying him Abdel-Muhsen Hassuneh, 21, from occupied East Jerusalem’s Beit Hanina neighborhood.

The survey found that 51% of the Palestinian public (67% in the Gaza Strip and 40% in the West Bank) believe that most of the Palestinian fatalities during attacks were in fact trying to stab, or had stabbed, Israelis.

Palestinians have accused Israel of using excessive force during a three-month wave of violence, and Sunday’s announcement appeared to be the first official investigation into the actions of Israeli security forces during the unrest. The two Palestinian governments are also at war with each other but they are much less willing to discuss that openly, except to tell their own subjects to tell that those other Palestinians are evil and up to no good.

Large gaps were found between the Palestinians in Gaza and those in the West Bank concerning perception of the current violence in Israel and the West Bank.

Israel condemned Abbas’s comment that attacks are “justified”.

He said the poll suggests violence will continue during 2016, with the possible involvement of more heavily armed militants.

A Palestinian guy died Monday. after ramming his auto in to pedestrians at a crowded bus stop at the western entrance to Jerusalem, wounding 9, in accordance to Israeli cops officers.

He suffered light injuries.

Mickey Rosenfeld said eight people were injured when a “terrorist ran into a bus stop”, adding that the Palestinian attacker was shot and critically injured during the attack.
